Literacy Volunteers of Bangor

Teammate Wanted:
Looking for a Service Coordinator

(Thanks for sharing this…)

We’re looking for the right fit for our team.  Do you like working with people from diverse backgrounds, identifying resources to overcome barriers, and advocating for others? Do you enjoy implementing programming to help others reach their personal goals?

If these activities sound like you AND you are looking for a professional position that is 20 hours a week with competitive salary, paid days off, and flexibility, then we want to hear from you.

The right person has strong interpersonal and written communication skills, is empathetic, adaptable, and organized; can analyze issues and make decisions independently.

Our culture values each person and the journey they have experienced. Building trusting relationships is at the core of how we help others, and this person will be at the heart of that mission.

Either an Associate Degree in Human Services or a related field or equivalent experience with a non-profit organization is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word and Excel) as well as other database applications expected.
