Clinician II (Outpatient Counseling Department)

The Clinician position at CCS Outpatient Counseling will provide counseling services in an outpatient setting. The model of treatment provided is dependent upon each individual’s needs. This role will be responsible for collaborating with other providers to provide holistic care to clients, developing individualized treatment plans for each patient that identifies individualized, measurable goals an documenting treatment progress and goals in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The Clinician will model appropriate social interaction skills, including boundaries, communication, conflict resolution etc. with patients, families, peers and others.

$1000 Training/ conference funds provided annually (licensure renewal fees, examination fees, professional book reimbursement, etc. available for all licensed clinicians)
Additional onsite trainings available (contact hours provided)
Five days of training allowable without the use of earned time
Weekly peer/ group supervision provided
Individual supervision (frequency dependent upon licensure) provided
Weekly case consultation with medical director
Education and Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work required
Must be licensed as a Masters Level Social Worker in the State of Maine (LCSW-preferred or LMSW-CC)
1-3 years’ experience in an outpatient setting preferred
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
