Deirdre Boylan, Leah Maxwell & Katrina Duncan Present at Ethics Conference
Deirdre Boylan (LCSW and Hutchinson Center Site Coordinator), Leah Maxwell (LCSW and Distance MSW Coordinator), and Katrina Duncan (MSW Student and Graduate Assistant) provided a continuing education ethics workshop at the Hutchinson Center on December 1st. Ms. Boylan, Maxwell, and Duncan, along with Nancy Kelly (MSW and Field Education Director), responded to the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Code of Ethics new changes by creating the one-day workshop: Social Work Ethics – Revisions to the NASW Code of Ethics. The presenters followed up on the new Code changes with a special focus on social work ethics in the “digital age”.
