UMaine’s Office of Research Development will hold open office hours in Room 3 of the Wells Conference Center from 1pm – 4:30pm on Tuesday September 6th, with coffee and light refreshments available. Faculty who have been hired within the last three years are encouraged to attend to receive a customized consultation from ORD staff. Post-doctoral research associates, research staff, and graduate students are also encouraged to attend to learn about professional development opportunities and grant and fellowship seeking resources. These preliminary meetings are meant to start the conversation with our office and give us an opportunity to get to know each other a little better. This can lead to more focused conversations and targeted support as researchers work toward research and funding goals.
