What are Broader Impacts?

NSF defines broader impacts as the potential to benefit society and contribute to the achievement of specific, desired societal outcomes.

Examples include, but are not limited to: Inclusion; STEM Education; Public Engagement; Societal Well-being; STEM Workforce; Partnerships; National Security; Economic Competitiveness; Infrastructure
