Nicole Lawrence
Nicole Lawrence is the Interim Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Interim Vice President Lawrence provides leadership and strategic human resources counsel to the UMaine administration, as well as the Office of Human Resources team. She also has oversight of human resources functions at the University of Maine at Machias.
Interim Vice President Lawrence received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UMaine in 2002 and started her career at UMaine in 2003, joining the Office of Human Resources in 2007. A lifetime resident of Old Town, Maine, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, and serves on the Governing Board for Partners for Peace.
