Media highlight historic love letters on display at Fogler
The Portland Press Herald, WABI TV (Channel 5 in Bangor) and WHDH (News 7 in Boston) reported on the ongoing display of World War II-era love letters in Fogler Library at the University of Maine. One couple sent in nearly 500 letters following a plea from the library’s first head of special collections on the condition they not be released until their would-be 80th wedding anniversary in September 2023.
