Mainebiz talked with Jason Lilley, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension sustainable agriculture professional who facilitated a July 21 discussion of the impact of the pandemic on agriculture in Maine. The discussion focused on information gathered in four surveys conducted by UMaine Extension on the topics of farmworker compensation, infrastructure needs, 2021 sales predictions and how farmers adapted during the pandemic.
