Newspaper Report on Alfond Arena Upgrades
A Bangor Daily News report on the new chiller system under the ice at Alfond Arena noted some on-ice issues during Saturday night’s UMaine men’s hockey game against Providence College. Scott White, the Alfond Arena operations manager, said there were some problems regulating the temperature of the ice, but that is normal for a new chiller system and should work itself out in a few weeks.
