Maine Impact Week

Maine Impact Week is a week-long experience held annually in April, culminating in the UMaine Student Symposium (UMSS). Events are hosted by various groups from across campus and featured on the Maine Impact Week website. Every year the University of Maine celebrates faculty and students research and creative work with a variety of in person and virtual programs. Past events have included art exhibitions, concerts, faculty mentor award ceremonies, informational talks, and outdoor activities related to sustainability. Check the Maine Impact Week website for more information. Interested parties can sign up for the Maine Impact Week newsletter to stay informed about events and development. Records of previous events are archived and can be accessed online. For more information, contact research@maine.edu or reach out on LinkedIn (UMaine Research), Twitter (University of Maine Research), Instagram (umaine_research), or Facebook (University of Maine Research).

Maine Impact Week is intended to provide an opportunity for the public to gain awareness about the latest efforts by Maine’s research university in contributing to the social and economic advancement of Maine and beyond. Dr. Kody Varahramyan
