UMaine Marine Science Club launches boat
UMaine Marine Science Club, is launching a boat sponsored by Maine Coastal Programs in hopes to use it as an educational tool for elementary and middle school children around the State of Maine. The boat will hopefully enter the North Atlantic Gyre, and make landfall in Europe. The boat can be tracked at http://educationalpassages.com/active-boat-map/. The Club hopes this project will inspire a deep love for the ocean and passion for education.
