Lead Climbing Clinic
Looking to take your top-roping to the next level?
Join us once a month on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m., for a 2-hour skills workshop in which our instructional staff will teach you the basics of lead climbing. You will gain a basic understanding of lead climbing and the knowledge required to take Maine Bound’s Lead Climbing test. Upon successful completion of this test, you can lead climb the sport routes on our tower! Prior completion of a belay seminar or belay test is required. Prior climbing experience highly recommended. Group Climbing
Group Climbing Contracts and Birthday Parties
Bring your group to Maine Bound for a couple of hours of climbing. We provide friendly, experienced staff to teach skills and belay for your event. You will have access to the climbing tower and bouldering wall for 2 hours. If your time slot occurs outside normal hours of operation, you will have the facility to yourself!
Submit requests 2 weeks in advance. Please note that late requests may not be accommodated.

Group Climbing Lessons
Do you and your family love to climb but have little to no experience? Then sign up for an informative two hours with our friendly staff. You will learn the intricacies of our facility, the different types of climbing we offer, and some basic climbing techniques. This is a great event for parents and children looking for a fun family activity!

Adaptive Climbing at the Maine Bound Adventure Center
Adaptive Climbing Program
We team up with Adaptive Outdoor Education Center to offer adaptive climbing to people of all abilities! We provide adaptive equipment and trained staff / volunteers to assist you during the climb. Please register by contacting infoaoec@gmail.com or 207-237-2676.

Do you like to help people? If so, come develop your climbing skills and learn to work with adaptive climbers in our annual training in partnership with Adaptive Outdoor Education Center! After completing this training you will have the opportunity to work with climbers in our AOEC Horizons climbing program!
