Ecology & science of team science graduate opportunities

Heather is co-leading a major new research and graduate training initiative at the University of Maine, Maine eDNA. With support of the National Science Foundation, ecologists, geneticists, oceanographers, and other natural and social scientists from across the state are working together to develop new tools to tackle public health and fisheries challenges in Maine and beyond.

The team is recruiting graduate research assistants to contribute to the project, beginning in Fall 2020. Learn more about the specific opportunities at https://dmc.umaine.edu/category/assistantships/

Note that Heather will be contributing to both the sustainable fisheries and science of team science elements of the project. Thus, students with both ecological and social science expertise are encouraged to apply.
