As a trustee of The Nature Conservancy’s Rhode Island chapter, I’m proud of the organization’s work to transform conservation science and practice through the LEAF program and related activities. If you would like to learn more about these opportunities or programs at Brown University related to the environment for college-aged students from under represented groups, please contact me at Heather_Leslie@brown.edu.

And, if you are a college freshman or sophomore interested in conservation, I encourage you to check out this fantastic new program: Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program @ UW.
