Barbara Winslow is Professor Emerita at the City University of New York and the founder of the Shirley Chisolm Project. She has published five books in addition to dozens of articles, essays, and reviews. For this talk, she will draw from her latest book, Revolutionary Feminism: The Women’s Liberation Movement in Seattle, 1965-1975 (Durham: Duke UP, 2023), as well as from her personal involvement in activist struggles.
