BDN shares announcement on grant for behavioral intervention program

The Bangor Daily News shared a UMaine news release that the University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies received a $499,970 grant from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services Office of Aging and Disability Services to conduct a model demonstration project of intensive evidence-based behavioral intervention to help adults with disabilities who are currently subject to restrictive behavior management plans. Assistant professor of special education Sarah Howorth from the College of Education and Human Development is co-principal investigator on the project.
