Statement from the Educational Leadership faculty:
Cristina Perez is the 2022 winner of this award. Cristina has blossomed in her leadership over the past three years. She entered the program as a quiet, collegial presence, a listener and an observer. In the past three years, she has grown into a confident advocate for herself, her students, and the paraprofessionals that she oversees. She takes her own leadership development very seriously and contributes thoughtfully to the journeys of other cohort members. Cristina has taken advantage of every opportunity to lead and used it to reflect and grow.
