Angela E. Domina: Krissy Miner Memorial Award for Outstanding M.Ed./Ed.S. Student in Educational Leadership
The Krissy Miner Memorial Award for Outstanding M.Ed./Ed.S. Student in Educational Leadership is presented to a master’s student in educational leadership who has demonstrated an affinity for their own leadership development as an educator. The recipient understands the cognitive, interpersonal and intra-personal aspects of their own leadership development to better meet the needs of students, families and stakeholders in their community.
Statement from the Educational Leadership faculty
In 2021, this award is granted to Angela E. Domina, a Bangor High School English Teacher and a candidate for the Ed.S. in Educational Leadership in the Maine Educational Leadership Academy cohort. Angela is a passionate, reflective leader, who demonstrates a deep understanding of the necessary skills of educational leaders as evidenced in both her written work and oral communication. Angela leads with a keen sense of the necessary balance of empathy and strategy to best meet the needs of students, staff, and community members.
