Buchanan, Mills receive Faculty Research Award
Assistant professors of curriculum, assessment and instruction Rebecca Buchanan and Tammy Mills have received a 2020 Faculty Research Award from the University of Maine’s Faculty Research Fund program, which aims to support faculty in establishing or maintaining high quality research programs and other creative achievements. Mills and Buchanan’s award is for the project, “Developing a Community of Teacher Leaders Across the Career Span.” Faculty Research Awards are designed to assist faculty members in establishing or maintaining high quality research programs that will extend the limits of existing knowledge and lead to a tangible final product (e.g., performance, showing, publication, grant proposal, etc.). For more information about Buchanan and Mills’ project, see our news release. More information about the Faculty Research Fund and the 2020 awards is available on the UMaine Research website.
