Presentation & Training Offerings

Crisis Assessment &
De-escalation Training (CAD)

This interactive training for staff and faculty teaches signs and symptoms of distress, crisis assessment, de-escalation skills, and points of contact for resources.

Mental Health 101

This presentation is usually requested by professors teaching First Year Seminar courses but all students can benefit! The presenter will cover the 8 dimensions of wellness, self-care, and coping s skills to help students manage all of college’s demands.

This presentation is typically given to departments who would like to know more about who we serve, our services, and answer questions staff/faculty may have.

Black Bears Care

The goals of this training are to increase knowledge and skills for frontline practitioners in order to
expand proactive & supportive procedures and to
identify & collect resource information, improve accessibility
