Crisis Assessment and De-escalation (CAD)

This interactive training for staff and faculty teaches signs and symptoms of distress, crisis assessment, de-escalation skills, and points of contact for resources. There will also be special attention to debriefing and self-care after working with students in distress.

Crisis Assessment and De-escalation (CAD) 150

This is the advanced CAD training, or Part II for staff and faculty to hone in and sharpen the skills they learned in the first CAD. With department-specific practice scenarios, attendees will interact and learn more about how to help students in distress.

Mental Health 101

Typically requested by professors teaching First Year Seminar courses (but all students can benefit) this presentation covers the 8 dimensions of wellness, self-care, and coping skills to help students manage all of college’s demands.

Gatekeeper

This training for staff, community members reviews suicide facts, statistics, and distress intervention skills to promote suicide prevention
