Did you know that close to 19% of students in a given class will have some kind of disability? Adopting the tenants of Universal Design can help support diverse learners. In this workshop we will review core design and teaching practices that align with Universal Design, recommend manageable approaches to course accessibility and review the accommodation process at UMaine.
