Introduction to Brightspace
Come learn about Brightspace! In this training session, we will be taking a tour of Brightspace and showing off some new features we are really excited about. This is a good training to get yourself oriented to the new Learning Management System we will be using at the University of Maine. Unlike our other workshops that get into the nitty-gritty of how to use all the different tools, this training will be focused on providing a general overview so you can navigate through Brightspace with confidence.

Navigate to your Brightspace Sandbox and explore the layout and organization of Brightspace

Learn about the new features of Brightspace as you think about new and exciting ways to build and offer your courses

Review the terms and definitions new to Brightspace and what is different from Blackboard

Find training materials and other ways to self-start your exploration
