This is a job opportunity for your graduating seniors and recent alums who are Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish or Portuguese speakers. It is a limited career appointment (in non-bureaucrat speak, a contract for up to five years) to live overseas and work at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate doing consular work (visitor visas, immigrant visas, and American citizen services). It is an excellent opportunity for those who want to build their skills, get experience with the State Department, and live and work overseas.
