Republic Journal Advances Rural Living Day
The Republican Journal reported the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Waldo County Extension Association are hosting the 21st annual Rural Living Day on March 21 in Thorndike. Classes will be available throughout the day on a variety of topics including farming with horses, starting a home-based food business, solar energy, soil biology and preserving the harvest using dehydration.
