Kate Axelsen Foster is a Career Development Specialist, formerly our graduate intern for the 2011-2012 academic year. Kate is completing her master’s degree in student development in higher education, with a concentration in career counseling, here at the University of Maine. Kate worked as a community coordinator in residence life prior to joining the Career Center staff. Before coming to the University of Maine, she worked in residence life at the University of Southern Maine, Syracuse University, and Colby-Sawyer College. Kate received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies at Roger Williams University. Kate enjoys meeting and assisting students throughout their career exploration and preparation.
