Health and Legal Professions Career Specialist
Crisanne Kadamus Blackie is the Health and Legal Professions Career Specialist. She works with all students going to graduate school in order to become a health care provider and all students interested in attending law school. Crisanne completed her Baccalaureate degree at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and her M.Ed. in Student Personnel Administration at Springfield College. With over 20 years of experience in the field of Career Development, Crisanne has worked in both higher education and the private sector. Her business experience includes working for a student loan corporation and a technology company. She has been involved in the start-up of 3 companies and has been co-owner of 2 Maine based companies including a whitewater rafting company and a lodging business. She has worked as a career consultant, has published several articles and has been a contributing author to 2 books. In addition, Crisanne is a trained mediator, a certified business coach, a National Certified Career Counselor and a Master Career Counselor. Crisanne enjoys working with pre-professional students and encourages all students with interests in the areas of health careers or legal careers to stop by her office and explore their options.
