Brief Biography: I grew up in Maine, and from an early age developed a passion for Maine’s natural resources, with a particular interest in the conservation of Atlantic salmon, and other sea-run fish. This led me to the University of Maine, to pursue a degree in Wildlife Ecology, with the goal of becoming a fisheries biologist.
Current Research: My current research uses radio and acoustic telemetry to characterize the upstream movements of Atlantic salmon in the Piscataquis River, and fishway passage at Howland and Brown’s Mill dams.
