Brief Biography: I am originally from the mountains of Colorado and have had an interest in wildlife for as long as I can remember. I am especially passionate about large fish and their movements. I have a background working with sharks and sturgeon. An avid angler and outdoorsmen, I get out in the backcountry or on the
water whenever I get the chance.
Current Research: My current research is with Atlantic and shortnose sturgeon in the Gulf of Maine. I am tagging sturgeon in the Penobscot and Kennebec to assess their movements using telemetry. I am also conducting chemical analysis on samples collected from sturgeon to assess population age structures.
