Interfaith Luncheon Series

The Wilson Center and the University of Maine Judaic Studies Program typically sponsor a series of 4-5 free luncheons for the Orono/Bangor community throughout the academic year. Generously funded by Jewish Community Endowment Associates (JCEA), these interfaith luncheons are an opportunity for education, dialogue, and growing in understanding from multiple faith perspectives.

Past topics/panels have included: The Challenge of Being Thankful in the World Today; Feasting and Fasting in Our Traditions; A Conversation with Millennials on Faith, Religion, Spirituality, and Culture; The Role of Religion in Politics; and Personal Perspectives on Cuba, to name a few.
