Bodwell Center for Service and Volunteerism

The Black Bear Exchange will be open Thursday, March 15 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for the week of Spring Break.  We will resume regular hours when we return on March 19.  Have a great break!

Volunteers are needed to support the Healthy High 1 mile fun run, 5K and 10K on Friday, April 20, 2018.  The races take place on and around campus and begin at the New Balance Student Recreation Center.  Volunteers are needed for water stations, traffic control, runner support and cheering!  To sign up, visit our project […]

The University of Maine will be closed on Monday, February 19 for President’s Day.  The Black Bear Exchange will also be closed on that day.  We will be open on Wednesday, February 22 for our regular hours (10:00 am to 4:00 pm).

Due to today’s storm, the Black Bear Exchange will be closing at 1:00 pm.  We will be open 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  We will be open again on Monday, February 12 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.

Last week, we received donations from 3 major food drives at the BBE.  The Classified Employees Advisory Council and the Professional Employees Advisory Council held a food drive at the President’s Annual Holiday Luncheon.  They collected $248 and many boxes of food.  Then on Thursday, Brian Perkins’ FSN101 class held their extra credit food drive.  […]
