UMaine offers SNAP Enrollment Assistance to Students

Black Bear Exchange Food Pantry and Clothing Swap.

Recent changes to the SNAP program allow more undergraduate and graduate students to qualify to receive SNAP benefits.  With assistance from a School of Social Work Intern, the Bodwell Center will be offering assistance to students wishing to apply at the Black Bear Exchange.  Students can ask questions through the process, make an appointment to sit with Molly while they complete the application, or ask for advocacy if problems arise.  For more information about the process and requirements, visit SNAP Resources for UMaine Students or email Molly Leblanc.
