Student Leadership Awards Ceremony – April 21, 2017
The Bodwell Center, along with Campus Activities and Student Engagement and UMaine Student Government, will host the 2017 Student Leadership Awards on April 21, 2017. The ceremony will take place at 4:30 pm at the Buchanan Alumni House. We will recognize students, student organizations, faculty and staff that have excelled this year in service and leadership.
Awards to be given:
Active Citizenship Award, Dean Lucy Award, Black Bear Volunteer of the Year Award, and Servant Heart Scholarships from the Bodwell Center.
AB Member of the Year, Site Leader Pair of the Year, and Executive Board Member of the Year from Alternative Breaks.
Student Government Leadership Award from UMaine Student Government.
Program of the Year, Outstanding Collaboration Award, Emerging Leader of the Year, and Outstanding Student Leader of the Year from Campus Activities and Student Engagement.
Pillars Awards from Maine Campus Compact.
We will also be recognizing Black Bear Mentors, Black Bear Tutors and the recipients of the Wilson Center’s SCOPE Social Justice and Community Service Grants.
