Planning for Google Analytics 4
University of Maine and University of Maine at Machias websites will be updated to utilize Google Analytics version 4.
While UMS IT has done the necessary work on our websites to accommodate this new code, the new Google Analytics software presents a new interface and capabilities that we are all familiarizing ourselves with. In the coming months, the team here in Digital Communications at UMaine will be reviewing the training materials that Google has provided.

While this online training consists of videos you may watch at your own pace, we plan to start a Google Analytics interest group that will go through this training together, meeting regularly to discuss the training videos and prepare ourselves for using the new software exclusively next year.
