“A “chandlery” is a sort of general store often found in seaport towns and thus the “Marlinespike Chandlery” is a store specializing in fancy marlinespike rope work, but the shop is filled with a variety of related artifacts, antiques and other interesting items. This is something out of the ordinary: an artist’s fantasy village with funny and whimsical “people” in a general store, a saloon, some medieval knights in their castle and more! Plus, they make homemade delicious jams to purchase + other local gifts.
Opened from May to October on Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm. They have native produce, meat, local seafood, cheeses, specialty foods, and bakery goods, fine artists, craftspeople, and community organizations.
