In fact, it would probably be a good idea to call any that you plan to visit just to be on the safe side.

Start the day off with breakfast at a local favorite, Sadie’s Bakery! Open Tuesday-Friday 6:30 am- 1:30 pm and Saturday 6:30 am- 11:00 am.

9:30 am: Spring Break Maple Farms

Purchase your favorite Maine maple and honey products to take home with you! Open Monday- Friday from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am-1:00 pm. To get the full experience, call ahead and ask about a tour!

11:30 AM: Lunch at Al’s Diner

With products such as maple cotton candy, cold-brew maple coffee, maple taffy, and maple funnel fingers, The Maple Moose is a destination you will not want to miss! For information or to set up a private tour, give The Maple Moose a call!

5:30 pm: Supper: The Downunder Sports Pub
Optional/Additional Stop: If one of the above destinations is not open, consider a stop at Bigrock Mountain.
Get out and enjoy the snow at Bigrock Mountain! With activities such as skiing and snow tubing, there is something everyone in the family will enjoy!

Packing Checklist
The weather in Maine can be unpredictable. Therefore, here are some ideas to be prepared. Wear comfortable clothes and dress in layers, Maine is very casual, so you probably will not find any restaurants that require formal attire.
Spring/Summer/Fall: clothes, comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes for walking, sun hat, sunscreen, sweater or jacket, insect repellent, toiletries, and phone/camera
Winter: clothes (layers), ski pants highly recommended, winter boots, jacket, hats, scarves, gloves, warm socks, toiletries, and phone/camera. Please pack a helmet if you are participating in snowmobiling, skiing, or snowboarding.
