Horticulture Club

The Horticulture Club is an inclusive club that aims to educate members about plants and to participate in creative plant-related activities. Such activities and workshops include plant propagation, landscaping opportunities on campus, plant pressing, and plant identification. In past years we have traveled to botanical gardens around Maine and participated in Maine Flower Shows.

The Student MEA is the student version of the Maine Education Association. The club offers opportunities to get to know other education members, speak to other members about upcoming milestones in the education major and engage in professional development workshops.

Concrete Canoe

Concrete Canoe offers a chance for engineering students to apply the skills they learn in class to a practical project. Student team members design, analyze, finance, construct, transport, present and paddle the canoe that is built in a regional competition.
