Summary of M.A. FIE Thesis Requirements

M.A. FIE core courses (ECO 511, 514, 524, 530, 531, BUA 651) 18 credits; minimum grade of B in all core FIE courses.
BUA courses (2 from BUA 652, 653, 654) 6 credits; minimum grade of B- in all ECO electives.
ECO Electives (2 ECO electives) 6 credits; minimum grade of B- in all ECO electives.
* Responsible Conduct of Research Requirement IF student funded by NSF, USDA, MAFES or NIH. 1 credit with grade of ‘Pass’
Oral exam Pass oral exam
Total Graduate Credits Required Minimum of 30. All courses on POS require B- or better. Core courses require a B or better.
