The Future of Dams project supported in part by a $6 million, 4-year National Science Foundation EPSCoR grant, is a multi­state, interdisciplinary research initiative focused on developing a methodology for making these important decisions about the future of dams.

Grad student’s thesis wins award of merit from NAREA

SOE grad student Ben Scuderi won the Thesis of Merit award from the Northeastern Agricultural and Resource Economics Association, at their annual meeting in Philadelphia PA.  Ben’s thesis examined the production efficiency of Maine’s oyster industry; the project was funded through an NSF-EPSCoR grant (SEANET).  Ben’s thesis adviser was Xuan Chen.
