Congratulations to SOE Graduate Student Richard Afatsao
The School of Economics (SOE) congratulates M.S. student Richard Afatsao on his successful completion of graduate studies in Economics. When asked about his experience at UMaine, Richard noted “I would like to say a big thank you to the SOE Faculty, especially to my advisor Assistant Professor Thomas F. P. Wiesen and to Professor Todd Gabe for their immense support and for creating an excellent academic environment.” Looking to the future, Richard will continue his academic journey and start University of Connecticut’s Ph.D. Program in Economics this fall. We are very proud of his accomplishments, wish him all the best in the years ahead, and encourage him to stay in touch. Congratulations Richard!
