Cotton presents research at the 2023 AERE Summer Conference

SOE Graduate Student Ben Cotton recently presented his research at the 2023 Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) Summer Conference. His poster, Paying for Coastal Water Quality: What turns the tide?, explored factors associated with willingness to pay for coastal water quality programs. Ben’s research, done in collaboration with his advisor Dr. Caroline Noblet and Dr. Kathleen P. Bell, examines the role of perceived risk, policy consequentiality, and ascription of responsibility on willingness to contribute to coastal water quality efforts. The 2023 AERE Summer Conference was held in Portland, Maine from May 31 to June 2nd and attracted environmental and natural resource economists from throughout the world. Great job presenting your work to an international audience Ben !
