Undergraduate, Sujita Pandey obtains Jackson Laboratory Summer Internship

Sujita Pandey, an undergraduate at the School of Economics in her third year will be be working at Jackson Lab (JAX) as a Human Resource Intern this summer. She hopes to acquire experience concerning effective professional recruitment strategies using data analysis and other tools to help develop efficient recruitment, selection, and training for the laboratory in the future.

She also has the goal of understanding the importance of candidacy selection in maintaining a culture of success and growth at JAX, while also improving her interpersonal skills and general knowledge through participation in group projects and by working with executives.

Sujita has also been awarded the Roger D. Cooper Scholarship Fund. The fund was created in 2005 in honor of Roger D. Cooper, a School of Economics alum. The fund helps both undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in global issues.
