Sen. Angus King informed of School of Economics’ research

Mitchell Center Director David Hart shared survey results developed by the School of Economics with Senator Angus King.  The survey research was led by Dr. Caroline Noblet, Assistant Professor:

Of the 192 Mainers polled in the survey, nearly 70 percent said they believe they have a responsibility to help solve environmental problems” said Hart “this underscores the fact that Mainers believe in the importance of environmental stewardship.

In response, Sen. King emphasized the importance of working together to confront climate change and taking concrete steps toward reducing its impact in the future.
