Benefits of Research Centers

This virtual panel will be made up of current faculty affiliated with a center or institute, as well as several center directors to provide information and discussion. Registration is required.

What are the research centers and institutes at UMaine and how can my research fit into one of these centers or institutes?
What are the benefits of joining a research center or institute?
How can I join a research center?
What does it mean to be affiliated with a research center?

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Sandra De Urioste-Stone, Assistant Vice President for Research, Associate Professor of Nature-Based Tourism. She is also affiliated with the Center for Research in Sustainable Forests and the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions.
