Paul Holman

G. Paul Holman is Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Maine. His research interests generally focus on international security, international terrorism, and the formulation of the U.S. national security strategy. He has published work in Quarterly Journal; the Naval War College Press; Strategic Review; the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings; the Brown Journal of World Affairs; the Argentinian Naval War College Review; the Air Force Magazine; and the U.S. Marine Corps Gazette. Professor Holman has recently been awarded the Libra Fellowship for 2012-2016. For UMaine he teaches courses on post-communist Eastern Europe, North Africa after the Arab Spring, and a course entitled “The Arctic Challenge: Climate Change, Cultures, and Conflicts.”
