Paul Holman is Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Maine. His research interests generally focus on international security, international terrorism, and the formulation of the U.S. national security strategy. He has published work in the Naval War College Press; Strategic Review; the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings; the Brown Journal of World Affairs; the Argentinian Naval War College Review; the Air Force Magazine; and the U.S. Marine Corps Gazette.

Prof. Holman resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but he continues to teach online. For UMaine, he teaches courses on post-communist Eastern Europe, North Africa after the Arab Spring, and a course entitled “The Arctic Challenge: Climate Change, Cultures, and Conflicts.”
