COVID-19 Update

Hours of Operation–Updated March 26, 2020

Until further notice, the Package and Postal Center will be open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.–noon by appointment only. Students receiving packages will be notified of their location in the UMaine kiosk locker system in Memorial Union.

We began forwarding USPS first class mail for students on Monday, March 23. This includes packages as well as letters. To ensure proper delivery locations, update the address where you will be residing in MaineStreet

Please note: FedEx, UPS and DHL cannot be forwarded.  If you have packages being shipped to campus through UPS, Fedex, and DHL, contact those companies directly and have them reroute your package(s) to the address where you will be living. Once they are delivered to our campus, students will be required to pay postage to have them resent or they must be returned to sender.
We will hold your packages at the Package and Postal Center for 11 days upon arrival. You will receive three notices with the third notice being a 24-hour final notice. If we do not receive communication from you by the end of the hold period, we will return the package to sender.

Students concerned about package forwarding may contact us during normal business hours at 207.581.3727 or email the Package and Postal Center with any questions.
