The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

At the University of Maine and University of Maine at Machias, we want our students to have the best educational experience possible, and your participation in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) helps us by providing vital information about your activities in and out of the classroom. If you are a UMaine or UMaine Machias first-year student, or a senior age 18 or older, please complete the NSSE survey. The survey should take roughly 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and you may skip questions you prefer not to answer.

In appreciation for participating, students who complete the survey will be automatically entered in a series of random drawings to win 1 of a variety of prizes. The prizes include Hydro Flask water bottles (8 available at a value of $39.95), sweatshirt blankets (3 available at a value of $49.95), and 12 $10 gift cards to the Bear’s Den (UMaine) or Kilburn Commons Dining Hall (UMaine Machias).
