An inventory of reports produced by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment by category can be found below.

These reports provide admissions data (i.e., the number of applications, completed applications, students accepted, and students enrolled) for new undergraduate and graduate students. The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort between publishers and the higher education community to collect and report a core set of data in a clear and consistent way. The Common Data Set includes information in the following categories: general information about the institution; data on enrollment, persistence, and graduation categorized by gender, ethnicity, and financial aid status; application and selection policy; freshmen academic profile; transfer student data; student life features; annual student expenses and financial aid; instructional faculty and class sizes; disciplinary areas and degrees conferred.

This annual survey collects information about the employment and educational status of recent UMaine graduates of baccalaureate programs. The reports detail employment, residence, income, and graduate enrollment of survey respondents.

The first two reports detail retention, continuation, and graduation rates for first-time, full-time baccalaureate students from the fall 2014 through fall 2023 incoming cohorts at UMaine and UMaine Machias, both overall and disaggregated by college. The non-retained student report examines where first-time, full-time undergraduate students who were not retained at UMaine went.
These tables present the student credit hours taken at each college, department, and career (undergraduate/graduate) during the years (fall and spring term) 2020-21 through 2024-25.
