The Bangor Daily News reported that University of Maine alumnus Geoffrey Wingard has been named Maine’s 2022 State History Teacher of the Year. Wingard, who teaches at Bangor High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a master’s degree in history from UMaine.
