Press Herald highlights UMaine traffic safety study
The Portland Press Herald highlighted a study from University of Maine researchers that found centerline rumble strips reduce head-on and opposite sideswipe collisions by anywhere from 28% to 48%. A new national study found that traffic deaths in Maine have risen more significantly than in other parts of the country.
